Hey there,

I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

As a person-centered therapist, I find it extremely important to provide a laid-back, humorous and honest space where clients feel open to be completely themselves.  Truly great therapy can only happen when we are allowed to process the experiences we have been through, the choices we make today, and the life we want to create tomorrow.

I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who has a passion for working with children, teens and their families who are experiencing a wide range of needs. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, religious trauma, self-esteem issues or simply just want to process through life, I would love to sit and talk with you. I am a strengths-based therapist whose goal is to help you build on the incredible person you already are and try to help you reduce any unhealthy patterns that are keeping you from the life that you want.

Outside of work, you can probably find me trying to learn or do something…anything new.  This year my “Bucket” list includes: rock climbing, making cheese, going on a scenic train ride, go geocaching and learning how to use my new miter saw without a catastrophic accident…

Education:  I received my Bachelors of Science in Youth and Family Ministry from Central Christian College of the Bible and my Masters of Social Work from Michigan State University.
