Hey there,

I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I BELIEVE WE ALL NEED SOMEONE TO WALK WITH US AS WE JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE’S UPS AND DOWNS.

I believe in an open-minded, non-judgmental approach to counseling that supports each client’s individual needs. I enjoy working in a collaborative manner with each client to discover the changes and goals needed to reach the quality of functioning that each client desires and hopes for. I take a holistic approach with each client as it is important to look at the whole person and their life experiences to best support them.

I specialize in working with children and adolescents who are experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral struggles, ADHD, school stress, and adjustment to life’s stressors. I’m also passionate about working with college students and young adults as they transition into new roles in life and balance school, work, and home.

I have a holistic approach with each client that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavior modification, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness exercises to support each client in their unique circumstance.

Outside of work I love spending time with my husband, three children, and two dogs. We enjoy going up north camping, hiking, and kayaking.

Education: I have my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Spring Arbor University.
