Hey there,

AS A THERAPIST, I AM BOTH A TEACHER AND LEARNER. MY GOAL IS TO ASSIST OTHERS TO MORE FULLY KNOW THEMSELVES, FIND THE HEALING WE ALL NEED AND MOVE TO A GREATER PLACE OF PEACE IN A CHAOTIC WORLD.

My work has been centered around understanding the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms that have been created to deal with the pain and new means and methods to create a healthy life. I specialize in working with older teens and adults around trauma, PTSD, secondary trauma, LGBTQ+ populations, depression, and anxiety. As a trauma specialist, I have spent the last six years training first responders, child advocates and other helping professionals to both recognize and assist those who have been physically, mentally, sexually or emotionally abused. I am certified in childhood trauma and treatment, an ACE’s (Adverse Childhood Experiences) trainer, certified as a QPR Zero Suicide trainer and have been certified in numerous evidenced-based therapeutic methods.

Each person and their experience are so unique and my goal is to help each individual to find and meet their own personal goals for a healthy and happy life. I believe education and personal insight are the methods toward the fulfillment inherit in the quest to be more alive and free.

Education: I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Central Michigan University (fire-up Chips), a Master’s degree in Theology from St. Mary of the Lake and an advertising degree from Michigan State University (GO GREEN).
