Hey there,
I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT, RAIN OR SHINE, YOU DESERVE SOMEONE TO BE ON YOUR SIDE. I WOULD BE HONORED TO BE THAT PERSON IN YOUR CORNER TO CHEER YOU ON.
I am passionate about helping my clients understand themselves and their layers while creating space for them to genuinely witness the many aspects of their internal world. With a trauma-informed & client-centered lens, I work to guide clients to compassionately observe their stories, beliefs, experiences, and bodies to build a foundation of security within themselves for a greater sense of balance. I strive to create a supportive space to heal and an environment to thrive through significant connection, humor, fun, & light.
I specialize in working with teens and adults around gender and identity, LGBTQIA+, eating disorders, ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My expertise lies in helping folks navigate and find healing from the impact of trauma. I integrate nervous system-informed approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), & Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
When I am not at work, you can find me playing outside with my mischievous Shiba Inu, enjoying different forms of media such as video games or movies, spending time with friends and family, or visiting picturesque landscapes across Michigan.
Education: I received my Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor & my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Michigan University.
