Hey there,
I BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE HAS THE ABILITY TO CHANGE AND CREATE THE BEST VERSION OF OURSELVES. AND THAT THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING HUMAN IS OUR ABILITY TO FEEL EMPATHY AND CREATE RELATIONSHIPS THAT HELP OTHERS ACHIEVE THEIR BESET SELVES AS WELL.
I aim to foster these types of relationship in my work with children, pre-teens, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety disorders, specific phobias, cognitive distortions, and OCD. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and additionally work from Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Play Therapy methods.
I spend most of my free time training my (rambunctious!) golden retriever puppy. In the brief moments of respite from her puppy teeth, I enjoy long distance running, thrifting items to re-decorate my space, needlepointing, and trying new recipes and restaurants with my family and friends.
Education: I received my Bachelors in Psychology with a focus on Neuroscience from Georgetown University. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Social Work at the University of Michigan.
