Hey there,
I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I BELIEVE NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO SIT IN THE DARKNESS ALONE.
As a therapist, I believe you are in the driver's seat, and I am here to assist you by providing support, empathy, and knowledge. Therapy is a collaborative experience where together we can work through anything important to you. I strive to provide a judgment-free, safe space where we can work together to help you reach your goals or process past events to get you where you want to be in life. I work from a strength-based, solution-focused perspective.
My specialties include working with individuals experiencing pregnancy and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), survivors of unwanted sexual experiences, trauma, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), disordered eating, body image issues, anxiety, and depression. I also provide LGBTQIA2S+ and gender-affirming care.
I have training in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness.
Outside the office, I love spending time with my family and pets, gardening, and being out in nature.
Education: I received my Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Michigan State University.
